Part of this project was to develop software for storage, management, analysis and visualization of functional genomics data. We have constructed the DOME system which fulfills those requirements. DOME (as in Database of OMEs), integrates data from transcriptomics, metabolomics and proteomics and provides means for their integrated analysis. The DOME system is complemented with three other pieces of software: B-Net which is a relational schema to describe background biocehmical knowledge, Brome, which is a software for visualization of functional genomics data through biochemical network maps, and Ometer which provides various statistical and machine-learning analyses.
